About Alana
Hello! I'm Alana, the founder of The Aspire Life.

A Life Coach, Mental Health Nurse, Irish woman and now an expat living in Sydney.
I’m also a sister, daughter, wife and friend, roles that deeply shape who I am and how I show up in the world.
Since I was young, I’ve been fascinated by goal setting and personal growth. I’ve always been drawn to the idea of challenging myself, striving for more, and asking: What’s possible? That curiosity and drive have been constant threads throughout my life.

As a Mental Health Nurse, I’ve witnessed firsthand the profound impact that purpose, clarity and managing overwhelm can have on a person’s wellbeing. I’ve seen how feeling 'lost', directionless or disconnected can weigh heavily on mental health and how transformative it can be when someone reconnects with meaning and direction.​

Today, through The Aspire Life, I support individuals from around the world to slow down, reconnect with themselves, build confidence and create lives that feel aligned and meaningful.
​
I believe clarity creates confidence. And when we align with our values and take intentional action, real transformation begins.
​

From a young age, I’ve been drawn to goal setting, forward planning, and supporting the people around me. Over time, that natural interest evolved into a career in mental health and more recently, into life coaching, work that allows me to support others in creating meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
​
I’ve spent over eight years working as a Mental Health Nurse, supporting individuals through both acute mental health challenges and the everyday emotional struggles many of us experience. This has shaped my approach deeply, grounding my work in compassion, patience, and the importance of meeting people exactly where they are.
​
More recently, I became a certified Life Coach, bringing together my clinical experience and my passion for personal growth and wellbeing. My work is grounded in a simple belief: growth should feel both intentional and achievable.

I’m here to support you in creating real, sustainable change in a way that feels aligned, manageable, and true to you.
Outside of coaching ​
Outside of my work, I’m someone who really values connection, balance, and enjoying the simple things in life. I’m naturally friendly and sociable, although I can be a little quieter in larger groups at first. u
I love catching up with friends over a good coffee or a glass of wine, and travel is one of my biggest passions. I always love having a trip to look forward to.
I’m also someone who enjoys having a goal to work towards, whether that’s a fitness challenge, training for a run, or pushing myself in new ways. Staying active and looking after my health is a big part of my life and something I genuinely enjoy.

Discovery Call
We begin with a discovery call, a conversation to talk about where you are, what you'd like to work on, and whether coaching feels like the right fit for you. It's also a wonderful opportunity for you to learn more about me and if I am the right coach for you.
Coaching Sessions
If you decide to move forward, we'll work together in one-to-one coaching sessions focused on your goals, challenges, and growth. Sessions provide space to reflect, build self-awareness, and identity practical steps that help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
